LIN Media’s FOX affiliate WPRI-TV East Providence, R.I., partnered with the Providence Journal to host two debates on June 10 and June 17. Both debates broadcast live in primetime at 7 p.m. The first featured the Democratic candidates running for governor, while the second involved the Republican candidates. Both events were moderated by WPRI-TV reporters and a Providence Journal political columnist.
