Hearst Television’s CBS affiliate KCCI-TV Des Moines has partnered with The Des Moines Register to host a live debate on September 28 for candidates running for Iowa’s open U.S. Senate seat. Iowa State Senator Joni Ernst (R) and U.S. Representative Bruce Braley (D) will face-off live from Simpson College, and the debate will be moderated by KCCI-TV’s Kevin Cooney and The Des Moines Register’s Kathie Obradovich. The debate will stream live on both organizations’ websites.
