Hearst Television’s CBS affiliate KCCI-TV Des Moines, Iowa, hosted and streamed a live debate on Sept. 28 for candidates running for Iowa’s open U.S. Senate seat, Republican Joni Ernst and U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley. On Oct. 6, KCCI-TV hosted a debate between Staci Appel and David Young, who both ran for the U.S. House of Representatives.
