Raycom Media’s NBC affiliate WECT-TV Wilmington, N.C., televised a debate on Oct. 7 between incumbent U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan and Republican Thom Tillis. ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos moderated the discussion, which covered topics including U.S. foreign policy, the Ebola outbreak, the Common Core academic standards, and gay marriage.
