WBRZ Collects Thousands of Meals and Coats for Families

Manship Station’s ABC affiliate WBRZ Baton Rouge, La., held its 30th annual Feed-A-Family food drive in October. Volunteers delivered the donations to a local food bank, where they were stored before distribution. On Oct. 24, Feed-A-Family Friday, the station raised over $25,000 and almost 69,000 pounds of food. This will provide 186,000 meals. WBRZ also held its Pat’s Coats for Kids Coat Drive in November. So far, WBRZ raised more than $33,000.
