KFOG-FM Donates $200,000 to Bay Area Food Banks

Cumulus’ KFOG-FM San Francisco donated $200,000 to Bay Area Food Banks on Nov. 12, which came from the proceeds of last year’s "Live From the Archives 2,." a benefit CD featuring singles from current rock artists. KFOG’s CDs are the biggest single fundraiser for these Bay Area Food Banks: Alameda County Community Food Bank; Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano; Napa Valley Food Bank; Redwood Empire Food Bank; San Francisco-Marin Food Bank; and Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. On Nov. 6, KFOG released its 22nd annual benefit CD "Live from the Archives 22," featuring Train, Michael Franti and Cage the Elephant.
