Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) unveiled the Univision Media Center at the New Venture Middle School in the Bronx on Jan. 29. This first-of-its-kind facility will help more than 300 students understand how a media newsroom operates, by providing experience with production and editing equipment. Univision media professional will also visit the school to provide training. This is the first of several Univision Media Centers planned for middle schools in the U.S.
