Raycom Media Hosts U.S. Senate Debate

Raycom produced a debate for Louisiana’s U.S. Senate candidates, held November 2, that aired on CBS affiliate WAFB Baton Rouge, Fox affiliate WVUE New Orleans, NBC affiliate KPLC-TV Lake Charles and CBS affiliate KSLA-TV Shreveport. The one-hour debate aired live in prime time and streamed online. All six candidates - John Kennedy (R), Foster Campbell (D), Caroline Fayard (D), Charles Boustany (R), John Fleming (R) and David Duke (R) - have confirmed their participation in the Raycom debate. “We are committed to producing a program that is fair and informative for Louisiana to choose their next U.S. Senator,” said Raycom Media Regional News Director Vicki Zimmerman.
