Hearst’s NBC affiliate WBAL-TV Baltimore packed 300 backpacks with the Baltimore Ravens for the “Huddle for 100” community service day on September 23. With members of the team, nearly 40 Hearst employees packaged donations for the Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools. The initiative asks participants to dedicate 100 minutes of community service in celebration of the 100th NFL season.

“WBAL-TV is proud to work with our WBAL News Radio and 98 Rock colleagues for the Baltimore Ravens Huddle for 100 day of community service,” said WBAL-TV President and General Manager Dan Joerres. “We’re excited that our hours of community service will benefit local students.”
