Cox Media Group’s WSB-AM Atlanta, syndicated station personality Clark Howard and the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services partnered together to play Santa for more than 8,000 children in the state’s foster care system during the annual "Clarks Christmas Kids" event and toy drive. The station ran a special broadcast with Howard and other personalities on December 3 and 4 to educate and encourage listeners to participate.

Due to the pandemic, the event was moved to almost entirely virtual platform, with viewers able to purchase and donate gifts and toys online. The station also operated select in-person toy drops around Atlanta.

"I’m so grateful and impressed with the generosity of our WSB-AM listeners who in this pandemic year have made Christmas gifts possible for every foster child in 134 Georgia counties," said host Clark Howard.
