Hearst’s WTAE-TV Pittsburgh collected more than $200,000 via WTAE’S project "Bundle-Up Telethon", a record year of giving for this 35-year tradition to community service. The annual event, held December 4 in partnership with the Salvation Army - Western Pennsylvania Division, provides winter clothing--hats, boots, jackets and gloves--to families, older adults and those in need each winter.

WTAE General Manager Charles W. Wolfertz III thanked the community for their generous support, and said, “Project Bundle-Up is a Pittsburgh tradition and we, as local broadcasters, are proud of our service to the neighbors who need it most.”
