Graham Media Group’s Local 4 News in Detroit, Mich., ran a unique 15-minute commercial-free investigative reportt on an oil pipeline at the beginning of its evening newscast. The report led viewers to learn more in a streaming story on the station’s website. The report led to a town hall meeting in a movie theater with the oil pipeline company, environmental groups, elected officials and community experts where the investigation will be shown to kick off the program.
