KJEB hosted the 22nd annual Bender’s One Big Give radiothon, raising over $813,400 to support Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Uncompensated Care Fund. “For 22 years, Bender’s One Big Give has been a lifeline of hope and compassion for the Seattle Children’s Hospital community. Bender, alongside Jodi Brothers, has poured his heart into this cause, touching countless lives with his unwavering dedication. Congratulations on an incredible accomplishment; we’re all incredibly proud of your efforts,” said iHeart Washington State Area President Mark Glynn.

Tegna’s NBC affiliate KING-TV Seattle  Bonneville International’s KIRO-FM Seattle raised $512,000 during its 27th annual "Holiday Magic Radiothon" on December 10. The money supports year-round programs at Treehouse, an organization focused on education for kids in foster care. It also provides each child in the program with a holiday gift.

The burglars took guitars, hand bells, trumpets, other instruments, a laptop computer and a TV.

KRKO-AM staff members were given sobriety tests to demonstrate the effects alcohol has on perception and motor skills.
